| About the Venues
La Sala Rosa: 4848 St. Laurent just below St. Joseph on the west side. Capacity - 250 to 180 seated This beautiful room is a historic Montreal building
built by the left-wing Jewish community in 1932. It was a cultural /
recreational / political center and once hosted Paul Robeson, Eleanor
Roosevelt as well as a workmen's circle during the 1940's and '50's. For
the past thirty year's the Centro Social Español has occupied the building
and continues to use it as a cultural center for people of Spanish decent.
The Sala is proud to be a part of this integral piece of Montreal history.
The room fits up to 250 people. Not accessible by wheelchair, children
welcome. Petit Campus: 57 Prince Arthur East at the corner of St. Laurent Blvd. Capacity - 250 to 200 seated This club space is completely renovated and a wonderful place to listen to great music
Le Salon Vert / The Green Room:
5386 St. Laurent just below St. Viateur on the west
side. Capacity - 120 to 80 seated
The Green Room is an arty, loft-style club space,
part live venue; part public house. Full sound system, stage, lighting
and curtains. Full bar, washrooms. Exposed brick wall, hardwood floors,
12ft ceilings. Wheelchair accessible, children not allowed.
Main Hall: 5390 St. Laurent just below St. Viateur on the west side. Capacity - 150 to 100 seated "Main" Hall is a freshly constructed performance space for artists of all disciplines, entitled "Main" Hall as it is located on the "Main" the popular moniker for St Laurent Boulevard, Montreal's most well worn thoroughfare. In the heart of Montreal's Mile End district, Main Hall is now Open to showcase a range of performance activities including Concerts, Film, Fashion, Dance, Design and Theatre. Not accessible by wheelchair, children welcome.
